Job Vacancy: Loans Collection Call Center Manager

Salary Range: KShs 50,000

Location: Nairobi

Our client, an international organization who is a leading provider of Loans collection services is seeking to recruit a Loans Collection Call Center Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Implementing collection policies and procedures to avoid excessive outstanding credit.


• Oversee the collection of outstanding credit and invoices to minimize profit loss while ensuring it is handled appropriately and per company policy.


• Ensuring that the company policy on recoveries is followed and that it is in line with state and federal regulations.


• Communicate with clients to build and maintain a strong working relationship and reduce the number of clients who stop working with the company.


• Build a collection business system and establish related systems and procedures.


• Setting payment collection goals and targets for the company.


• Lead the team to complete the assessment goals set by the company, establish, and improve the team incentive policy.


• Develop a work plan according to the company’s business requirements and be able to carry out a reasonable division and arrangement of labor and complete the work effectively according to the planned nodes.


• Responsible for the supervision of the entire business operation process, through the data report, effective analysis of the work data, can find the problems and effectively solve them.


• Responsible for solving unexpected problems in daily operation management and be able to quickly find effective solutions.


• Responsible for the introduction and construction of team talents, team staffing according to business requirements, and on-site training and work guidance for employees.


• Handle call center business work and be able to put forward constructive opinions and suggestions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in finance or any Business-related field.


• Proven experience as a credit and collections manager or similar supervisory position (at-least 4 years of experience).


• Knowledge of high-volume collections, credit authorization and billing procedures and practices.


• Experience in customer service is essential.


• Knowledge of performance evaluation procedures.


• Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities.


• Good in spoken English and local languages.


• Have good communication skills.


• Acknowledge basic debt collection process on loan App.


• Must possess strong interpersonal skills, verbal, and written communication skills and most importantly empathy.


• High affinity and cultural awareness of political/social situation regarding the relevant market/region.
