Job Vacancy: Quality Control Manager

We are a fast-growing manufacturing company dealing with packaging material.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to ensure the manufacturing process runs smoothly and generates a consistently suitable output of products that meet quality and efficiency standards.

The Quality Control Manager understands the customer’s needs and requirements and coordinates employee efforts and communications between management and the production teams.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be tasked with: –

• Gaining an understanding of the client’s needs and requirements and communicating them and the quality standards to the production teams.


• Devising ways to improve the manufacturing process to ensure higher-quality goods.


• Devising, improving, and reviewing new specifications and procedures for products or processes, and training staff to use them.


• Setting the requirements for raw materials from suppliers and monitoring their compliance.


• Ensuring legal obligations are followed and ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies and with health and safety guidelines.


• Overseeing product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards.


• Inspecting the final output, comparing it to the requirements, and approving or rejecting the final products.


• Keeping accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis.


• Ensuring production output of the machines is as per the set KPIs


• Ensure correct housekeeping (6S) of all raw materials and finished products


• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into a quality database.


• Any other duty assigned from time to time.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Chemistry / Science / any Science related course


• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry


• Good computer skills with advanced Microsoft skills (word and excel)


• Analytical skills and creativity


• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Must demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.


• Strong prioritization and administrative skills


• Ability to handle matters with integrity


• Ability to meet pressing deadlines, collect data and communicate it in a comprehensive report.
