Our client, a school in the outskirts of Nairobi whose focus is on leadership and well-rounded individuals, is looking for a Marketing Executive.

Responsibilities:

• Collate material and edit copy for the school’s monthly e-newsletter and circulate it to internal and external audiences


• Update the School’s social media accounts


• Update information about the school on external websites and directories


• Create fresh and up-to-date web content


• Write and produce marketing material (brochures, posters, flyers, etc.) for the school’s programs


• Prepare marketing collateral for the school’s corporate relations activities


• Prepare PowerPoint presentations for the school’s promotion events and conferences


• Responsible for the School’s publicity stands


• Select and order promotional merchandise for exhibitions and for use as corporate gifts


• Proactively search out information for PR purposes and write press releases


• Advertising (print media, outdoor and new media)


• Represent and promote the school at various events and provide market analysis

Job Specifications

• Content creation as a skill


• Excellent writing skills


• Proven experience as a marketing executive with at least 3 years work experience


• Proven experience in creating sales and marketing campaigns.


• Understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods.


• Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices.


• Proficient in MS Office and marketing software.


• Familiarity with social media and web analytics.


• Excellent communication and people skills.


• Strong organizational, critical thinking, problem solving and time- management skills.


• Creativity and commercial awareness.


• Minimum degree in marketing or relevant discipline.


• Professional qualifications from a marketing professional body
