MEDICAL LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST III; JOB GROUP ‘H’ (CPSB 11); (2 POSTS); ADVERT NO. 173/2021

Terms of Service        :       Permanent and Pensionable

Basic Salary              :      Kshs. 25,470 – Kshs. 33,950 p.m.

House Allowance       :        Kshs. 3,200 p.m.

Commuter Allowance :       Kshs. 4,000 p.m.

Medical Cover           :        Comprehensive Medical Cover

Qualifications

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must:

• Have a diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences from an institution recognized by the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technician and Technologists Board.


• Be registered by Kenya Medical Laboratory Technician and Technologists Board.


• Have a valid practicing license issued by Kenya Medical Laboratory Technician and Technologists Board.

 Responsibilities

• Receiving and scrutinizing laboratory requisition forms/specimens.


• Preparation for clients for specimen collection.


• Processing of the specimen.


• Preparation and submission of patient laboratory reports for clinical management.


• Carry out other routine laboratory procedures.
