Job Title: Production Manager – Mombasa

Location: Mombasa

Gross Salary: Kshs 100k- 150k

Our client is a leading franchisor retailer and manufacturer of tiles, bathroom ware, and related products.

They seek to hire a growth-oriented Production Manager to ensure an efficient and productive manufacturing process that meets customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule production as well as sample testing of product batches.


• Order raw material (local and foreign).


• Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product quality.


• Ensure customer orders are completed on time and that quality standards and targets are met.


• Take all necessary actions to manage production costs and improve profitability·


• Responsible for OTIF (On time in full production).


• Do daily, weekly and monthly maintenance to equipment.


• Dispatch stock as per sales orders.


• Ensure health and safety standards are kept up to group standards.


• Capture raw materials, production orders, and finished goods on SAP.


• Resolve any errors on SAP relating to these transactions.


• Give reports on production yields for the month.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 8 years of experience as a Production Manager.


• At least 5 years of proven experience as a production manager with deep knowledge of production management in the Construction industry.


• Proven track record of having successfully trained employees in productivity and safety.


• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.


• Knowledge in the use of SAP and ICT literacy to deal with various technologies.


• Experience in reporting on key production metrics.


• Ability to coach and mentor and motivate shop floor employees.
