Wells hotel is seeking to hire a Restaurant Supervisor who will ensure that all restaurant operations run smoothly.
The Supervisor will oversee the activities of restaurant staff, expedite customers’ orders as needed, and maintain good working relationships.
The supervisor should also be able to identify ways to decrease the restaurant’s operational costs
Key Responsibilities
- Managing restaurant staff’s work schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
- Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service.
- Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked.
- Monitoring the restaurant’s cash flow and settling outstanding bills.
- Review customer surveys to develop and implement ways to improve customer service.
- Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Perform any other duty as advised by the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Diploma in food and beverage from a reputable college or University
- At least 2 Years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in the food and Beverage department as a supervisor.
- Good working knowledge of micros
- Must have proper knowledge of food and beverage service
- A successful track record of managing a team.
- Able to work with flexible working hours.
- Able to work under Minimal Supervision.
- Able to Multitask and reliable.
