Job Summary
Our Client seeks to hire a competent room stewardess to join their team and provide excellent customer service to their guests. he/she will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for the guests during their stay.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities
• Cleaning and service assigned rooms or areas according to established standards and procedures including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, Replace used towels, Sweep and mop floors, Vacuum carpets, Dust furniture
• Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms
• Wear safety protection equipment as provided in line with department regulations
• Handle and store chemical in line with hotel regulations
• Respond to guest complaint, special requests and take action to ensure guest satisfaction
• Monitor and control supplies and amenities and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping
• Report turn in and log all lost and found items according to established procedures
• Work as part of a team and communicate with other department as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service.
• Ensures that proper hygiene is maintained at the wash-up by ensuring the use of correct cleaning materials for various equipment
• Replenish bath care products (e.g. soap and shampoo)
• Clean public areas, like corridors
• Report any technical issues and maintenance needs
• Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift
• Follow hotel security guidelines
Qualifications /Requirements
• Diploma or certificate in Housekeeping or related course
• KCSE Minimum C- (Plain Minus)
• Minimum 3 years experience in in 4 or 5 star hotel
• Experience in working in hotels in animal parks and reserves is an added advantage
• Experience in working for an international hotel
• Ability to deliver set objectives
• Team player
• Highly organized individual
• Self motivated
• Result oriented individual
• Ability to work in remote areas
