Job Description
Poultry and Allied Limited is a poultry breeder based in Musanda, Kakamega county providing Improved Kienyeji chicks and farmer support services covering the Nyanza and Western region.
We are looking for Sales Executives who will be assigned to Mumias, Butere, Ugunja, Luanda, Bungoma and Kakamega CBD to introduce our processed chicken products to the hospitality sector. Depending on the location, this project will take 1 week to 1 month.
As accommodation is not offered, the successful applicants must reside or have their own accomodation in their preferred area.
Qualification Level: Completed or currently studying any sales, marketing, statistics, business or communications related degree course or higher. International diploma qualifications such as ACIM are also accepted.
Experience Level: Volunteer, internship in sales or customer support services will be an added advantage but are not required.
Role Description: The successful candidate will be performing duties under the supervision of both the Sales & Marketing Manager as well as Administration & Finance Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Locate and interview decision-makers using the prescribed mobile phone questionnaire.
- Identify and register new customer orders
- Maintain sales records daily
- Support in other duties as may be required
Other requirements:
- You must enjoy working with people, selling and negotiating and planning.
- You should be punctual and have high attention to detail
- You should be a self-starter / able to work well with minimal supervision
- You should be highly organized and neat
- You should demonstrate good communication skills in speech and writing (Kiswahili and English)
- You should be able to work from 8am-5pm, Monday to Saturday.
A daily stipend will be provided.
