Vacant Position: Sales Operation Specialist

A multinational media and entertainment company is looking to hire a driven & ambitious individual to join our Business team in driving the department vision by providing insightful data analysis to help drive sales performance, optimization and seamless end to end process management of customer journey

Key Accountabilities

Sales Administration Support

• Work closely with Business leadership to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.


• Assist Business leadership in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies.


• Work with Legal Team-ensuring contracts are updated and duly executed.


• Monitor Business compliance with the required standards for maintaining CRM data.


• Manage installer and other relevant third- party database by ensuring we have contractual agreements and that they are accredited


• Maintaining and updating KYC documents

Business Support

• Support and assist the sales team with specific aspects of pre & post campaign analysis of sales & marketing programs.


• Computation of Team incentives & Commissions, Clarification of queries to Sales team relating to Commissions.


• Central point of contact for coordinating the implementation and planning of new projects related sales and distribution.


• Assist the business analyst to develop dashboards and reports to measure sales and marketing ROI, campaign effectiveness and lead generation initiatives.


• Assist in sales strategy formulation by collation of relevant data on economic, competition, market challenges and other broad strategic data that can assist in developing market intelligence database

BI data validation

• Validation of data sources and following up with the relevant departments whenever disparities are noticed for corrections


• Ensure sales data generated from SAP & BI tools is correct


• Sales Performance analysis and reporting


• Analyse Sales data to help the business achieve the targeted revenue & target relative market share.


• Prepare and present monthly and ad hoc presentations on Sales & Marketing Plans and Performance progress


• Prepare Business sales performance report on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and share with the relevant stakeholders OTIF

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree


• 2-3 years in a commerce, business administration or sales


• Experience in FMCG Sector will be an added advantage


• Experience in data analysis


• Experience in trade sales activations


• Experience in channel partner management


• Deep sales & distribution knowledge


• Commercial experience in Kenya
