AMPLUS INTERNATIONAL LTD is a corporate events management and marketing agency with operations in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania since 2013. We are pleased to invite applications from interested and qualified applicants for the CORPORATE SALES REPRESENTATIVE position for one of our clients in the hospitality industry in Kenya.

Responsibilities

• Create a pipeline of conferences and accommodation sales for the hotel through aggressively marketing of the hotels services and facilities


• Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing customers in person, via calls and emails


• Come up with marketing ideas with an objective to sell the hotel and its facilities


• Always be on top of activities happening in the travel industry, current market trends and economic factors


• In an effort to increase the hotel’s market share, Keep track of events from corporates and other organizations and follow up to convert them into business


• Liaise with Tour Operators/Travel Consultants, team building organizers, corporate representatives, government institutions on all bookings and assist in the booking process when required to ensure service is delivered and is to the agreed standards


• Submit reports in accordance with the company’s requirements

Qualifications

• Degree / Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Tour and Travel or Hospitality Management


• At least 2 years sales working experience


• Confident with excellent communication and negotiation skills


• Fit to walk for long distances


• Fluent in written and spoken English and Kiswahili


• Self-motivated and one who can identify a business opportunity and convert the opportunity into business


• Must own a functioning smart phone


• Must uphold a high degree of professionalism, honesty and integrity


• Should be able to work under pressure on commission based targets
