Our Client is an expert in water and sewage treatment and they seek to hire a Technical Operations Lead to provide overall insight and co-ordinate on-going operations, installations, projects, maintenance programs of all client installed units and equipment as well as co-ordinate works related to properties owned by the company or associates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overall project scheduling, co-ordination, implementation & progress reporting


• Coordination of technical teams on various project sites


• Co-ordinate installation, commissioning, servicing & troubleshooting of:

                  -Water pumps, booster pump sets, motors

                  -Reverse osmosis water treatment equipment

                  -Wastewater treatment plants

                  -Electrical panels for systems

• Setting up and coordinating activities for a workshop for water pumps, electrical motors, reverse osmosis plants & other water-related mechanical equipment


• Planning and tracking of the available stock of equipment, electrical and plumbing items/fittings, and all material associated with the projects


• Co-ordinating operations, servicing & maintenance of client equipment, monitoring progress, and maintenance reports


• Implementing and maintaining systems for all project servicing, planned preventative maintenance of all client equipment and systems


• Maintaining proper records of service history and equipment status and conditions to implement pro-active servicing of client-owned equipment


• Tracking and monitoring all above records and reports, to identify problems with equipment, as well as giving proper feedback and timely responses to clients


• Experience in designing various aspects of mechanical and plumbing systems related to the water industry will be an added advantage


• Able to do project costings and valuations on excel for repair jobs, projects, etc


• Co-ordinate & supervise various works / renovations / repairs or maintenance requests for properties


• Should be hands-on as well as comfortable to do additional work that may not be outlined in this document for the company, related properties, or directors.

Key Qualifications.

• Mechanical/electrical engineer with at least 2-3 years of technical experience in a team lead role.


• Mechanical/electrical engineer with at least 2-3 years technical experience with design, installation, troubleshooting & maintenance of reverse osmosis water treatment plants.


• Experience and working knowledge in: 

                   -Electric & solar water pumping solutions, 

                   -Water pump boosting solutions, electrical motors, 

                   -Reverse osmosis water purification plants

                   -Design & troubleshooting of electrical panels and components

• Further experience in design, production, installation, and maintenance of others. water/wastewater filtration, treatment, and softener systems is an added advantage


• Experience and working knowledge of PLC’s and VFD’s is an added advantage


• Experience with AutoCAD / ArchiCAD is an added advantage


• Must be able to read and interpret drawings (Process and Instrumentation drawings, layout and elevation drawings for construction)


• Must have a working knowledge of plumbing fittings and electrical panel equipment


• Excellent communication and writing skills in English


• Excellent proficiency in MS word and excel
