Job Title: Sales Manager
Nature of Job: Full Time

Salary: Kshs 120,000 – 150,000
Job Location: Nairobi
Job Summary: Applications are invited from candidates with good experience working in a company dealing with construction materials, for a Sales Manager’s role.
The incumbent will be responsible for Sales Management, developing new customers, and team management in an effort to achieve the company’s sales strategic objectives.
Our client deals with building materials (Tiles) and relevant experience is key to this role.
Key Duties / Responsibilities
1. Sales management
- Do region sales analysis. Develop new customer
- Manage good relationships with old distributors.
- In charge of monthly statements. Lead the team to work and push clients to clear their accounts
- Organized collection marketing info and policy change, give feedback to GM in time and give advice on strategies
- Management of old stock by devising promotional plans.
- Control customer hosted stock at a good level. Push clients to collect goods once invoiced
- Monitoring of all Kenya warehouse branch stocks structure
- Based on HQ KPI targets set weekly sales plans and monthly sales plans
- Based on sales progress, track every salesman work performance then assist them to reach their targets
- Based on production plan, organize team to share new samples to clients in time
- Tracking sales performance
- Credit control and analysis of client finance condition in charge and approval of daily expense including claim
2. Team Management
- Weekly CPI and monthly KPI score tracking and give results
- Give team promotion plan and manage team salary
- In charge of management of client contract renew and sign work
- Hold meetings weekly ,daily ,monthly and give reports
- Team management ,in charge of interview of customer care and salesmen and supervisors
- New staff training and sales DEPARTMENT daily training management
3. Marketing work
- Organize team to do showroom marketing
- Assist marketing products to fundis promotion and advertising
- Assist department manager to organize yearly and regional meeting for distributor
- Assist marketing team to do investigate and survey and give report and result in time
- New products management and process
4. Products work
- Do products variety analysis and help department manager to make decision and assist to do yearly production plan
- Competitor quality tracking and new design tracking
- Assist products supervisor to do monthly products sales analysis

Academic, Professional Qualifications and Experience Required
- Bachelors’ degree in Social Science, Business Administration, Commerce, Sales or any related field
- Masters’ degree in any related field is an added advantage
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Sales; two (2) as a Sales Manager.
- Two (2) years of experience in the same field (tile manufacturing industry/hardware /Construction materials) is an added advantage
- At least three (3) years of experience in managing a team of not less than 20 people

- Event planning skills, marketing and understanding of Consumer psychology
- Copywriting planning, advertising

- Basic knowledge of training
