Job Description

A leading supplier in the hospitality industry is seeking to recruit a highly ambitious candidate to fill in the following position at their Nairobi office:


Customer Care Executive


Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the Customer Care Executive will be responsible for overseeing client management and ensuring high quality services to clients in accordance with the best practices of the industry with an expectation of ensuring client satisfaction and business development.


Principal Accountabilities



  • Ensuring constant contact with customers

  • Sending out emails and making calls to the prospective and existing customers to check on requirements

  • Responding to incoming phone calls and following up with written email on the matters discussed

  • Solving all customer issues promptly

  • Communicating to clients on stock availability, delayed deliveries and pending items and following up to ensure client requirements are effectively met

  • Closing sales and ensuring repeat of business

  • Pitching for sales in the company product line

  • Educating prospective and existing clients on Company products

  • Following up on proformas after sending quotes on new and existing clients

  • Reaching out to clients with overdue payments to push for payments


Key Qualifications and Experience



  • A minimum of a Diploma in a relevant field

  • A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in customer service operations

  • Knowledge in the hospitality industry

  • Ability to adapt/respond to different types of client requirements

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
