Job Summary

- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor
- Experience Level: Mid level
- Experience Length: 3 years
Job Description
Duties and responsibilities.
The librarian will be expected to;
- Digitize the entire academic library into the modern state.
- Offer a vibrant way of teaching the students while showcasing various skills such as prediction, vocabulary checks.
- Teach/ pitch to the students the various distinct library skills
- Check on the student’s comprehension skills as they learn.
- Show ability and prowess in animating stories.
- Drawing out pre literacy and language skills.
- Create and grow a reading culture within the school
- Create and maintain records of all books within the library as well as follow up on books not returned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in information technology from a recognized university.
- Three to four years of relevant experience in the field.
- Have worked in an academic library and performed the above stipulated duties.
- Digitizing experience is an added advantage.
