Job Title: Regional Sales Manager.

Reports to: Sales Manager -Supermarket

Industry:  Manufacturing (Mattresses and Bedding)

Location: Nairobi.

Gross Salary KES. Competitive.

Job Purpose We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager who will be responsible for developing and implementing sales, marketing, financial and structural strategies in stores across a group of territories. Their duties include visiting stores to meet with employees, communicating about sales goals and expectations and gathering research about their target market.

Responsibilities

• Implement sales projects in specific counties


• Liaise with and secure business from dealers (small furniture/ and other dealers.


• To identify and bring on board distributors from Nairobi and various counties.


• Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.


• Actively seek out new sales opportunities through supermarkets and distributors


• Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns


• Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products to clients


• Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data


• Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations in Supermarkets/distributor outlets


• Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences


• Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections


• Collaborate with team members to achieve better results


• Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams

Skills and Qualifications.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following soft-skills and competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing or related field


• At least five years-experience in a similar position


• Have excellent written and oral communication skills


• Possess high level of integrity and confidentiality


• Project management skills
