Vintage Warehouse Limited was formed in October 2005 with the goal of providing logistic solutions in the area of customs services and freight management within the East African region.

They seek to hire a Marketing officer who must be a target driven go getter with utmost dedication.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute and iterate the marketing strategy for the brand


• Make use of competitor analysis and market trend information to develop marketing and product strategy


• Work closely with the Regional Marketing and local teams to achieve annual targets for the e-commerce business unit via digital marketing as well as engaging of potential trade partners


• Create, implement and oversee (digital) media campaigns based on e-commerce business objectives


• Supporting sales and lead generation efforts through the different marketing channels


• Responsible for content strategy and ownership of all owned online channels such as social media and the corporate website.


• Optimize our marketing automation and lead nurturing process through email, content and social channels


• Develop documentation and road maps for processes and promotions that succeed through email or digital marketing


• Regular campaign monitoring and optimization, with post-buy reporting of key metrics


• Manage and monitor product distribution and performance


• Managing budget overview for all marketing related activities

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor of Commerce, marketing option or a related degree in marketing from a reputable institution


• The preferred candidate will have at least 3-5 years’ experience in marketing in the logistics/ clearing and forwarding industry with a proven track record of business acquisition.


• Good verbal and written communication


• Preferred experience in clearing and forwarding


• Good ability to document and communicate in a clear way to sell the company services to all potential clients.


• Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Purchasing, Warehouse Management and Fleet Management Software


• A self-starter and goal achievement-oriented individual who can work without close supervision.
