Job Description
Catering Steward Job, Latest Hotel Kenyan Jobs,
Nova Pioneer is looking for a superstar Catering Steward willing and ready to start in January 2023 in our Eldoret Girls Boarding School. This is an opportunity to be a part of an innovative network of schools that is developing generations of innovators and leaders who shape the African Century.
As a catering steward, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen. All utensils and kitchen floors must be kept clean. You will also work hand-in-hand with the other kitchen staff to ensure smooth production of food.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining daily hygiene and cleanliness of the kitchen and prep kitchen.
- Championing food safety in the department.
- Assisting with food preparations.
- Serving meals to students and teammates.
- Collecting feedback from customers.
- Attending team meetings and training.
- Any other duty as assigned by the sous chef.
- Ensuring sink is always clean with clean dish rack
Qualifications
- Form 4 certificate
- Certificate in Catering & Accommodation or Housekeeping
- You are a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- You are able to work well and meet strict deadlines with minimum supervision.
- You have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Work experience is preferred but not a must.
