Job Description/Requirements

The successful candidate will play an integral part in supporting the sales & marketing department in liaising with travel agents, making bookings, responding to client enquires, invoicing and providing administrative support as necessary. The ideal candidate Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience within the Tourism & Hospitality Industry.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Handling all guest enquiries.
•    Making guests’ reservations & invoicing accordingly.
•    Facilitating travel arrangements e.g., flights & ground for guests
•    Helping identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation.
•    Liase with travel agents and other stakeholders in the hospitality & tourism industry.
•    Creating marketing materials in collaboration with the design team such as brochures, factsheets, and presentations.
•    Maintaining a marketing database.
•    Make travel bookings using Rex booking system.
•    Providing administrative support to the marketing and sales team.
•    Preparing, formatting and editing a range of documents.
•    Understanding company products and brands.

Qualification:
•    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field.
•    A minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales & Marketing in the Hospitality/Tourism Industry.
•    Must have experience in administration in the sales & marketing department.
•    Effective written and verbal communication skills.
•    A high level of attention to detail.
•    Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
•    Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
•    Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
•    Have knowledge of Rex booking system.

Monthly Gross Salary: Ksh. 60,000/= (Approx. 600 USD).
Career Level: Lower Mid-Level.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree.
Location: Nanyuki, Kenya.
