Job Description

They are actively sourcing for a Solutions Engineer to join our energetic and Agile E-Commerce and Information Assurance teams in Nairobi, Kenya.
You will be responsible for project implementations based on solutions design specifications.
You must be able to effectively translate system and customer requirements into technical requirements for the development team.
You will also be required to action and resolve any adhoc queries or tickets that may arise.
Our ideal candidate would have a keen interest in system integration projects as well as a basic understanding of API’s, communication protocols and IM related configuration (SQL).
You should be well versed and clued up in current and future tech, be willing to learn with a go-getter attitude.
You need to have the ability to work under pressure and collaborate with your team and those around you.
To apply, you need to have a bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent qualification coupled with 3 – 5 years’ of relevant experience. Java or PL/SQL development experience will be to your advantage.
Additionally, the following will go a long way to be successful in the role:
- Exposure / Qualification in Unix/Linux Operating Systems
- Exposure / Qualification in Databases (Oracle / PostgreSQL)
