Job Title: Store Keeper – Raw Materials

Location: Nairobi

Salary: 40K – 60K

Our client is a paint manufacturing firm based in Nairobi.

They seek to hire an Organized and detail oriented Store Keeper to oversee the day to day warehouse operations for raw materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Personally, make health and safety a priority ensuring you comply with all health, safety instructions, comply with the policies, procedures of the Company and Work in a safe and orderly manner.


• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment at all times.


• Efficient control the flow and storage of raw materials, keep stock records, do physical stock taking weekly and end-month on all items by giving accurate and exact figures physically.


• Receiving and coordinating the incoming goods, storage and dispatch of raw materials in a timely and efficient manner.


• To ensure effective, safe, accurate and timely stock management which include space allocation and stock transfer by Monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of raw materials.


• To make sure no obstruction or barrier along the gang ways which might hinder the passage of goods or employees in any case of emergency or normal duties.


• Working closely with the Purchasing department to ensure adequate stock levels (Coordinating inventory levels.)


• Checking and inspecting goods received and ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type, and also acceptable quality.


• Ensure all the property and equipment you use is maintained and not recklessly damaged.


• There must be an ability to respond to production demands ensuring the supply of raw materials to the production facilities is both accurate and on time.


• Communicate with your Department Supervisor frequently during your shift to

• Performs other related jobs as assigned by superiors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree in Procurement / Supply Chain Management will be an added advantage.


• Must have at least 5 years’ experience at supervisory level in stores/ warehouse environment


• Must be computer literate


• Knowledge on storage technics


• Knowledge on data handling, security and management


• Respect of deadlines
