Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Staying attentive to the needs of the guests in the Front of House area. 


• Serving guests drinks and meals 


• Laying tables 


• Welcoming guests


• Greeting guests, taking drink and food orders, and communicating them effectively to the kitchen


• Memorizing the menu and understanding and learning from the kitchen what is in the dish. Knowing what the breakfast special is of the day and being able to explain it clearly and attractively. 


• Communicating with the guests when the management is not around to do so.


• General cleaning of main areas and crockery and cutlery


• Bush Meals and Bush Sundowner set ups 


• Co-ordinating with the kitchen 


• Co-ordinating with management


• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.


• If guests mention something about plans or something they are not happy with or are very happy with, communicate this to management. 


• Must always always maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.


• Being on top of and aware of Alcohol stocks so that this can be managed correctly. 

Qualities that are needed: 

• Trustworthy 


• Honest 


• Very good clear spoken English as well as strong writing and communicating skills 


• Ability to work in the bush for up to 6-week periods at a time and be open to flexible work hours


• To be able to work well with other team members and management


• Being able to work well under pressure and have excellent time management skills 


• Physical ability. You need to have the physical ability to be on your feet for long periods of time and to carry and move things. 


• Understanding of Alcoholic Beverages, Wine, and Cocktails. (Training will be done in house on this)


• Good Education 


• Excellent interpersonal skills


• Energetic and Positive outlook 

NOTE: Must have experience in handling high net-worth individuals. Food and Accommodation will be provided at the property
